1. Introduction

Welcome to WorthLens! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WorthLens mobile application (“App”) and related services. WorthLens allows users to take photos of items and receive estimated resale values based on real market data sourced from online marketplaces.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. User Accounts

To use WorthLens, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at worthlens.app@gmail.com. Upon deletion, we will stop processing your personal data, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

WorthLens is a subscription-based service. Subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Payments are processed by the respective app store platform.
• Subscription management, renewals, and cancellations must be handled through your Apple or Google account settings.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription, except as required by applicable law or platform policies.

4. Service Description and No Financial Advice

WorthLens provides estimated resale values for items based on available market data from third-party marketplaces and comparable listings.

Important disclaimers:

• All values provided are estimates only.
• Estimates may vary significantly based on item condition, location, demand, timing, and platform-specific factors.
• WorthLens does not guarantee that an item will sell at the estimated price or at all.
• The information provided by the App does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or professional advice.
• You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on the information provided by WorthLens.

5. Data Collection and Use

To provide its services, WorthLens collects and processes certain data, including images uploaded by users for valuation purposes.

• Uploaded images are stored for up to 14 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
• We use Firebase for authentication and backend services.
• Images and related data may be shared with OpenAI and other service providers. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Services

WorthLens relies on third-party services and data sources to generate valuation estimates. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of third-party data or services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorthLens is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to lost profits, failed sales, or incorrect valuation estimates.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

You may stop using the App at any time and cancel your subscription through your app store account.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. End-User License Agreement (EULA)

10.1 Apple App Store (iOS)

For users downloading the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. In case of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA will prevail for iOS users.

10.2 Google Play Store (Android)

Google does not provide a standard EULA. Therefore, for users downloading the App from Google Play, we provide the following license terms:

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the WorthLens mobile application solely for personal and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;
• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
• Circumvent or interfere with security features of the App.

This license terminates automatically if you violate these Terms.

10.3 Third-Party Store Disclaimer

This agreement is solely between you and WorthLens, not with Apple or Google. Neither Apple nor Google is responsible for support, maintenance, or legal claims related to the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgrade, Serbia.
